Pret-a-Papier

 I'm just in AWE.

Came across this via Femail today - and find this truly incredible!

Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchagrave's collection of 'Pret-a-Papier', displays extravagant 17th century gowns made entirely from paper which is manipulated and painted.

Throughout the Hillwood Estate Museum in Washington, DC these elaborate designs have been cut, glued, painted, braided, ruffled, crumpled and folded onto a wire frame to create the perfect illusion of elaborate brocade, lace, and silk.

Am-a-zing.

Vintage Festival Street Style

Last weekend we worked at Vintage Nostalgia 2012 Festival and managed to snap a few vintage vixens looking stunning in the heat!

Sailor style fifties sundress - red lips to complete the ensemble.

Wow. Just ... wow. Well dressed chap or what?!

Braces, flat caps and a splash of girly pink.

Chic dress and jacket, with attention to accessories.

The perfect picnic outfit! Floral playsuit, straw boater and vintage parasol...

..and last but no means least - two ladies dressed in our very own Cherry Closet dresses! Ready to jive the night away when the sun went down.
